Anchor2Anchor
Designed in Provincetown by Stephen Hooper
Anchor2Anchor was born from sand, salt air, and a sketchbook. Conceived on the beach at Herring Cove in the summer of 2019, it began as a few sun-drenched doodles in a notebook—my creative lifeline after years in the New York fashion world. By 2020, it had found a home in Provincetown with its first location, launching a new chapter rooted in a place I’ve loved since 1996 and made my full-time haven in 2015.
After a career designing for DKNY, A|X Armani Exchange, Banana Republic, and Marc Ecko Cut & Sew, I stepped away for a time. But Provincetown called me back to the drawing board. What began as Helltown Provincetown—a small, spirited line—evolved into Anchor2Anchor, a brand infused with the soul of the Outer Cape.
Anchor2Anchor is inspired by sea gypsies and life on the edge of the continent. My muse is a boy or girl who lives by the tides: part nautical daydreamer, part barefoot hippy, and part mischievous scallywag. Each piece carries the spirit of Provincetown—its windswept romance, bohemian roots, and roguish charm.
This is clothing for the wanderers, the beachcombers, the storytellers. From the dunes of Race Point to the quiet mornings on the harbor, Anchor2Anchor is more than a brand. It’s a love letter to a town that lets you be exactly who you are.
